Elston’s Hay & Grain Hay Giveaway – Official Terms & Conditions
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

This giveaway is sponsored by Elston’s Hay & Grain, 2220 Main Street, Ramona, CA 92065 (“Sponsor”).
Giveaway Period
The giveaway begins on September 13, 2026, upon publication of the official giveaway post, and ends on September 30, 2026, at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time (PT) (“Giveaway Period”). Entries received after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.
Eligibility
The giveaway is open to legal residents of San Diego County, California, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Elston’s Hay & Grain and their immediate family or household members are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.
How to Enter
During the Giveaway Period, participants may enter on Facebook and/or Instagram.
To enter on either platform:
- Follow Elston’s Hay & Grain on the platform where you are entering.
- Comment on the official giveaway post and tell us who you’re feeding.
- Tag two friends who could use some free hay.
Participants may enter on both Facebook and Instagram for a maximum of two (2) total entries per person—one entry on Facebook and one entry on Instagram.
Each platform entry must be completed separately and must meet all eligibility requirements. Duplicate comments or additional entries beyond the maximum of two (2) per person will not increase a participant’s chances of winning.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Prize
One (1) winner will receive:
- Ten (10) bales of hay of the winner’s choice from the hay varieties carried by Elston’s Hay & Grain, subject to availability; and
- Free delivery within San Diego County.
The total prize consists of 10 hay bales. The winner may select from eligible hay varieties currently carried by Elston’s Hay & Grain, subject to availability at the time the prize is claimed.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash or substituted for another prize, except at the Sponsor’s discretion or where required by law. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Delivery is limited to locations within San Diego County, California. The Sponsor will coordinate delivery arrangements with the winner.
Winner Selection and Notification
One (1) eligible winner will be selected at random from all qualified entries received during the Giveaway Period across both Facebook and Instagram.
The winner will be notified via the social media platform through which they were selected and/or by direct message after the Giveaway Period. The winner must respond within 48 hours of notification.
If the selected winner does not respond within 48 hours, cannot accept the prize, or is determined to be ineligible, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
The winner may be required to provide information reasonably necessary to verify eligibility and arrange prize delivery.
General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to:
- Comply with these Official Terms & Conditions.
- Accept the Sponsor’s decisions as final and binding with respect to all matters relating to the giveaway.
- Allow Elston’s Hay & Grain to use their name, social media username, and likeness for promotional purposes related to the giveaway without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
- Release and hold harmless Elston’s Hay & Grain, Facebook, Instagram, and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, and representatives from any liability arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, to the extent permitted by law.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these Official Terms & Conditions, attempts to manipulate the entry process, or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate conduct.
Privacy
Information provided by participants will be used for purposes related to administering the giveaway, contacting the potential winner, and arranging prize fulfillment, and will not be sold or shared except as necessary to conduct the promotion or as required by law.

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
By participating, entrants understand that they are providing their information to Elston’s Hay & Grain, and not to Facebook or Instagram.
