While same-day deliveries are sometimes available, we recommend a two-day lead time to ensure reliable and timely service. Explore eligibility and details below.
Delivery Guidelines:
1) Delivery Access: The delivery truck must be able to pull in or back up directly to the drop-off location. Please make sure the drop-off location can accommodate the size of our delivery truck. If unsure, please contact us before scheduling your delivery. No dragging, carrying, or carting of items will be provided. Our delivery trucks are 24 ft x 8 ft cabovers with dual drive wheels and must have direct access to the unload spot.
2) Driver Discretion: The driver will determine the safest approach to the unloading spot to prevent damage or the truck getting stuck. We recommend identifying a secondary unload location if the primary spot is questionable, especially during winter months.
3) Delivery Timing: Deliveries can occur at any time on the scheduled day. You are not required to be present for delivery. However, if you’d like a call when your order is en route, please specify this in the comments section of your order.
4) Secure Your Animals: Please ensure all animals on the property are penned during delivery.

- RAMONA & POWAY: $100 minimum purchase, $10 fuel charge, delivery Monday-Friday
- ESCONDIDO & NORTH COUNTY: $250 minimum purchase, $10 fuel charge, delivery on Tuesdays
- JULIAN & MESA GRANDE: $250 minimum purchase, $10 fuel charge, delivery on Wednesdays
- LAKESIDE & SOUTH COUNTY: $250 minimum purchase, $10 fuel charge, delivery on Thursdays
- RANCHITA & WARNER SPRINGS: $500 minimum purchase, $50 fuel charge, call to schedule delivery: (760) 789-5020
Delivery Order Information
When placing your order, please include the following details in the comments:
- Your preferred delivery day (Monday–Friday, as noted above). As a note: Delivery times are not scheduled. They occur on the scheduled day based on a full load heading in your direction.
- Specific unloading instructions for the driver upon arrival.
- Items to be non-taxed (tax will be refunded after we receive the order).
- Any additional details or requests (e.g., gate code, call before delivery).
Additional Details
- Home deliveries do not qualify for Elston Hay & Grain discounts.
- A $25 fee will apply if delivery cannot be completed due to customer issues (e.g., obstruction, unruly pet, missing gate code, or unreachable by phone). Rescheduling will move the delivery to the next available delivery day.
